1. How can I enter Miss Oahu Filipina (MOF)?
To enter the Pageant, potential contestants must complete and submit an application. Click here to complete the: Application Form.
After the application period ends, the Official Contract with the pageant's terms and conditions will be provided.

2. What are the requirements to join Miss Oahu Filipina (MOF)?
To participate in MOF, contestants must meet the following criteria:

Be a natural-born female

Have Filipino ancestry

Be between the ages of 18 and 27 by December 31st of the Pageant year

3. Who hosts the Miss Oahu Filipina Pageant?
The Miss Oahu Filipina Pageant, which serves as a preliminary to the Miss Hawaii Filipina (MHF), is hosted by the Oahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC). The event is typically held in June or July.

4. What are my responsibilities as a contestant?
As a contestant, you will participate in various training and cultural sessions to prepare for the pageant. You will also engage in volunteer activities and events organized by the OFCC or its sponsors. The experience culminates in a Girls Night Out event, where contestants can bond and get to know each other.

5. What is the Oahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC)?
Founded in 1959, the OFCC is a Filipino community organization on Oahu, Hawaii, committed to promoting and preserving Filipino culture and heritage. It is a member of the United Filipino Council of Hawaii (UFCH) and is affiliated with 47 local organizations.

6. What is the United Filipino Council of Hawaii (UFCH)?
Also established in 1959, the UFCH is the umbrella organization for the Filipino community in Hawaii. It consists of island councils from Kaua'i, O'ahu, Maui, Moloka'i, Lana'i, and the Big Island, and oversees more than 150 affiliated local organizations statewide.

7. What responsibilities does the winner of MOF have after being crowned?
The winner of Miss Oahu Filipina becomes an ambassador for the Filipino community on Oahu under the guidance of OFCC. In the month following the pageant, she will compete in the Miss Hawaii Filipina Scholarship Program (MHFSP) to represent the state. Her duties include attending community events, speaking engagements, and planning initiatives on both local and national levels. This will help her promote their chosen platform and elevate your profile within the community.

8. When and where will the next Miss Hawaii Filipina (MHF) be held?
The next Miss Hawaii Filipina event will take place on the island of Kauai during the week of August 3, with the pageant on Saturday, August 9, 2025. More details will be announced soon.

9. What happens when a MOF contestant becomes Miss Hawaii Filipina (MHF)?
When a MOF contestant is crowned Miss Hawaii Filipina, she will crown her island successor, usually one of her runners-up. The new MHF will pass on her duties and some prizes to her successor and begin her year with the UFCH.
