1. How can I enter Miss O'ahu Filipina (MOF)?
All applicants must submit a completed Official Application Form and the required Application Fee by the designated deadline. Following the close of the application period on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and prior to the Official Orientation Day, qualified applicants shall be issued an Official Contestant Contract setting forth the Pageant’s terms and conditions. Execution of the Official Contestant Contract is required for participation in the Pageant.
2. What are the requirements to join Miss O'ahu Filipina (MOF)?
To participate in MOF, contestants must meet the following minimum criteria:

Be a natural-born female;

Have proven Filipino ancestry;

Be between the ages of 18 and 27 by December 31st of the Pageant year; and

Meet all additional eligibility, documentation, and compliance requirements as specified in the Official Application Form and Official Contestant Contract.
3. Who hosts the Miss Oʻahu Filipina (MOF) Pageant?
The Miss Oʻahu Filipina (MOF) Pageant, which serves as the official island preliminary to the Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina (MHF) Pageant, is produced and administered by the Oʻahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC).
4. When and where are the Pageants typically held?
Miss Oʻahu Filipina, and other island-level preliminary pageants, are generally held in early summer. The Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina Pageant, the statewide competition, is typically held in late summer, and will be held this year on island of Oʻahu.
5. What are my obligations as a contestant?
Contestants are required to participate in all mandatory Pageant-related activities, including but not limited to orientations, trainings, rehearsals, cultural enrichment sessions, and scheduled events. Contestants may also be asked to participate in volunteer activities, community engagements, and sponsor-related appearances as directed by OFCC or the Pageant Committee.
6. What is the Oʻahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC)?
Founded in 1959, OFCC is a community-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting, preserving, and advancing Filipino culture, heritage, and community engagement on the island of Oʻahu. The OFCC is a member organization of the United Filipino Council of Hawaiʻi (UFCH) and is affiliated with multiple local Filipino community organizations.
7. What is the United Filipino Council of Hawaiʻi (UFCH)?
Established in 1959, the United Filipino Council of Hawaiʻi (UFCH) serves as the statewide umbrella organization for the Filipino community in Hawaiʻi. It is composed of island councils from Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Maui, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island and provides statewide coordination, governance, and oversight of affiliated councils and programs.
8. What responsibilities does the Miss Oʻahu Filipina titleholder have after being crowned?
The Miss Oʻahu Filipina titleholder shall serve as an official ambassador of the Filipino community on Oʻahu under the direction and guidance of the Oʻahu Filipino Community Council. Following the Pageant, the titleholder is required to represent Oʻahu in the Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina Scholarship Program. Her duties include, but are not limited to, participation in community events, public appearances, speaking engagements, promotional activities, and initiatives consistent with her approved platform and the mission of the OFCC, as further defined in the Official Titleholder Agreement.
9. What occurs if a Miss Oʻahu Filipina contestant is crowned Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina?
If a Miss Oʻahu Filipina contestant is crowned Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina, she shall relinquish the Miss Oʻahu Filipina title and formally transfer the title to her designated island successor, typically one of her runners-up, in accordance with Pageant protocol. The newly crowned Miss Hawaiʻi Filipina shall then assume her statewide duties and responsibilities under the administration of the United Filipino Council of Hawaiʻi.
